Fiona Cooney is an actor from County Tipperary who was raised in Perth, Western Australia. She is currently based in Dublin, where she can be seen in the immersive theatre production THE JURY EXPERIENCE.

She graduated from college with a degree in journalism and spent time working as a newsreader for a national radio station. After much deliberation, she decided to switch gears and pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an actor.

Whilst living in Vancouver, Fiona appeared in several short films, including APERTURE which won multiple awards on the festival circuit, including Best Drama (short) at the 2018 Oniros Film Awards.

She is a member of the Entr’acte Musical Theatre and Drama Society in Dublin.

Later this year she will appear on stage in the Smock Alley theatre as Mrs. Soames in a production of Thornton Wilder’s acclaimed play OUR TOWN.
