Mícheál Ó Fearraigh is an actor and writer from Co. Donegal.
His Web/ TV credits to date have primarily been in the Irish language include TG4’s first mockumentary AN POITÍN, ROS NA RÚN, and AM ABÚ, his upcoming credits include CRÁ and SAMHRADH FUAR FLIUCH AN GHEIMRIDH.
His theatre credits include HARVEY DARKO, the clowning show based loosely on the films Harvey and Donnie Darko which he co-wrote and co-starred in along with Francis Breen as part of the Scene + Heard festival. Other theatre credits include the immersive improvised theatre show CEREBRAL RATHAUS which was performed at the Electric Picnic, FIONN AGUS CLOCHAN AN AIFIR and FIONN SA SPÁS, the two Christmas shows he performed in with Fíbín sa Taibhdhearc as well as his many collaborations with the Eva’s Echo Theatre Company, a highlight of which was to multi-role on the Druid Fuel project STARDOM.
Mícheál is also an improviser and sketch comedian. He recently finished a tour of the West of Ireland with the environmental improv project WE BUILT THIS CITY, he is a member of the improv group BLANK COP, BLANK COP and the sketch group VENGABOYZ WORLD PEACE MEAT.
He completed an Acting Diploma with the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and has trained at the Lir, Stoke Improv, the Actor’s Room, MOB Theatre Dublin, Maureen Hughes Casting, and Add Absurdum, as well as many others. He also holds a BA degree from the University of Galway in English and Mathematics with Creative Writing.
